    Sober Living Homes

Sober living homes are single-family residences that offer a clean and safe living environment for individuals recovering from alcohol or drug addictions.

Long-term recovery from alcohol, drugs, and substance abuse begins with a solid foundation. That’s why we provide care from detox through outpatient services. Sober living is highly recommended after detox or rehab and we can suggest some in the area or out of state if needed.

As part of the addiction recovery continuum of care, family members and clients may be interested in continuing sobriety in a drug and alcohol-free sober living environment.

Research from the National Institute on Drug Abuse has shown that residents reduced or stopped their substance use between baseline and six-month follow-up and then maintained those improvements at 12 and 18 months. There were also improvements in employment, psychiatric symptoms, and arrests.

Families may not be ready for their loved ones to return home or may want a safe space to experience transition while having the structure and safety of a typical schedule and drug and alcohol testing.

Sober living allows individuals who wish to continue their sobriety after detox, inpatient residential, or outpatient treatment to share an alcohol and drug-free environment.

A typical schedule at a sober living home provides structure and comfort in sobriety. Proximity to AA meetings and support groups and minimizing the need for transportation can be very beneficial, especially if there are services available in the surrounding area.

Patients who are genuinely trying to recover deserve to receive the care they seek in licensed facilities that are located in a community that has given their consent. This is precisely what La Jolla Recovery has been offering for over eleven years.

La Jolla Recovery applauds those who seek to overcome their addictions and encourages and welcomes them on their journey to sobriety.

Let our world-class addiction counselors and recovery professionals engage, motivate, and set in motion your inner momentum.
