    Sober Living Homes

Sober living homes are single-family residences that provide a clean and safe living environment for individuals recovering from alcohol or drug addictions.

Unfortunately, some of them turn out to be a false refuge for the addicted.

At La Jolla Recovery, very few of our clients relapse because we don’t want our facilities to transform the homes into transient motels.

Long-term recovery from alcohol, drugs, and substance abuse begins with a great foundation. That’s why we encompass care from detox through outpatient.

Sober living homes: because 30 days are not enough.

As a part of the addiction recovery continuum of care, family members and clients may be interested in continuing sobriety in a drug and alcohol-free sober living. Because sometimes 30 days are not enough…

Research from the National Institute on Drug Abuse has found that residents reduced or stopped their substance use between baseline and six-month follow-up and then maintained those improvements at 12 and 18 months.

There were improvements in employment, psychiatric symptoms, and arrests as well.

Families may sometimes not be ready for their loved ones to come back home or may want a safe space to experience transition while having the structure and safety that a typical schedule and drug and alcohol testing can provide.

Sober living makes it possible to share an alcohol and drug-free environment for those who wish to continue their sobriety after detox, inpatient residential, or outpatient.

A typical schedule at a sober living home can provide structure and comfort in sobriety y. Proximity to AA meetings and support groups and minimizing the need for transportation may be very positive given services in the surroundings.
Patients who are legitimately trying to recover deserve to receive the care they earnestly seek in licensed facilities that exist in a location with the consent of the local community. And this is precisely what La Jolla Recovery has been offering for over eleven years.
