I don´t know how to meditate.
Especially since the coronavirus outbreak, more and more of my acquaintances have told me that they learned how to meditate. “If I don´t pick up the phone or reply and SMS immediately, I am probably offline in 0ne of these sessions”.
So when the world started to crumble down last march, I gave it a try.
But in my own way. I lighted a couple of candles, sat over a mattress, and closed my eyes. I had turned off all my gadgets, including the mobile phone.

But after a few minutes, I felt a spark of anxiety bursting inside my head.
It was probably the biggest paradox that I faced during 2020.
During all those months spent gearing up with sanitizer, toilette paper and tuna cans, I was very nervous, of course. A few nightmares too… But this sort of mini panic attack had to occur during my first ever meditation session!
Moral of the story: One should not despise guidance or tutorials that teach how to meditate. It might seem like a piece of cake, but trust me, it isn´t. After a few months of that confusing incident, I will try to learn how to meditate properly…..
