La Jolla Recovery offers a short-term adolescent intensive outpatient alcohol and drug abuse treatment program. The program provides evening treatment programs for a minimum of thirty (30) days. The treatment center is in La Jolla, California and consists of group rooms, individual counseling or therapy rooms, client dining area, and staff offices. Our group curriculum is evidenced based, using best practices that have been proven to work with the developmental needs of the adolescent and their families.

La Jolla Recovery’s Adolescent Intensive Outpatient Program (IOP) is for individuals capable of participating at a lower level of care, but still requiring weekly treatment services supporting sobriety.

About Our Adolescent Program
Our Intensive Outpatient Program offers group, individual, and family sessions 10-15 hours per week. The program allows clients to be able to participate in daily activities, such as school, and then attend treatment during the evening program. Clients participate in group therapy sessions, as well as individual sessions with the assigned Counselor(s). Clients are also provided case management, treatment planning, and discharge and aftercare planning.

- Strategies for relapse prevention
- Management of health issues related to substance abuse

FAMILY INVOLVEMENT
Families are encouraged to participate in the rehabilitation treatment process when appropriate. There are opportunities to engage in family therapy and family support/educational groups.

The multidisciplinary treatment team provides integrated treatment in which team members work collaboratively, sharing responsibility for the individuals served. The range of treatment and services is comprehensive and flexible, with intensive care coordination provided as needed. Treatment plans result from a collaborative effort between team members and clients.
Clinical supervision is made available to all treatment team members and includes assessing and monitoring each client’s progress, providing feedback to staff in the context of the treatment plan, and evaluating individual team members’ performance.
